A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Police Training Institute has been, and remains the singular goal of "striving toward excellence" in the provision of advanced police training opportunities for the increased professionalism and service to the public at large. On July 1, 2004, Police Training Institute returned to its status as an independent advanced law enforcement training provider. We will continue to provide the most up-to-date training opportunities. Police Training Institute, is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally formed in 1990, PTI has trained more than 5,000 law enforcement officers from twenty states, Canada, Nova Scotia Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Newfoundland, including federal, state, county and municipal officers. We would like to express our deep appreciation to the Federal Bureau of Investigation Police and Chief Art Wells for allowing us to conduct a Field Training Officer Program at the F.B.I.
