DRUG ENFORCEMENT

 

Street Drugs: Recognition & Identification

This one day program is designed for the police patrol officer and will address the issues of identifying commonly abused drugs, traffic interdiction and terminology and laws concerning controlled substances.

Liquor Enforcement and Investigation

This one day program will focus on the common violations observed in liquor permit establishments, as well as investigative techniques used in stings and reverses. It will also look at other criminal activity commonly occurring at these locations such as gambling, prostitution, and drug sales.

Drug Diversion Techniques

This two day program will be instructed by Sgt. John Burke who retired from the Cincinnati, Ohio Police Pharmaceutical Diversion Unit and is currently the Director of the Warren County, Ohio Drug Task Force and will address the current methods of diversion of controlled substances by medical professionals and the methods of conducting investigations of nursing homes, pharmacies, and medical offices.

Selective Patrol: Drug Interdiction

This two day course offers the techniques for identifying drug couriers through routine traffic control and the most common operational methods of illegaly transporting drugs.

The Rave Culture

This one day class will be instructed by Torrence, CA police officers who will address the issues concerning Extasy and Rave parties.
